CGMW workshop

Hey Everyone!

The good folks at CGMW asked me if I would be interested in doing a workshop for them and it was a blast! Basically it's my approach to character design from sketching to researching and rendering a digital painting of the character. It's a two hour workshop with an hour live Q&A. I highly recommend checking out their website and seeing what other workshops they have to offer! Just click HERE CGMW Online

Here is the finished painting for the workshop along with some rough sketches. Hope you guys enjoy it!

(a painting not related to the workshop) I felt like painting something different from my usual graphic style - what could be more fun than a mech? Hope you enjoy it!

Damn that's a slick pirate. Even if he did shoot through his own leg...

I might check out this workshop Erik! I need a little boost in motivation, and I think this and Michael Hampton's will do just nicely...

So sad that all of you PEDOPHILES don't understand when the game is over..the smart ones are giving the documents away and making their " extraordinary" deals and " sanctions".
But those that continue to " belief" they are not surrounded, better think twice about PRICO, GLYCO, SCOMPO, CONESSA, PITYLTD.
Brad and Angelina have.
And so has TED TURNER.

I wanna thank you for the CGMW workshop. It was interesting to watch but even more to listen to. The approach, and many thoughts are similar to my inner understanding. This is always a pleasure to see. I liked the statement about the long road to economic painting in old masters works, achieving the best results with a minimum of resources. The constant reference to traditional painting also animates . In the abundance of digital art often lose the original. I understood that you also read a course for students on the topic. That's great, because it seems you have mentor's capacity also. That's wonderful when somebody can easy explain what is needed to reach the result.
Sorry for my english. Haven't written such long letters for ages. )
