new paiiiiiiiintin!

Here are a few paintings I manage to get out of that trip to Angeles National Forest . I try to keep my gear really simple (umbrella, chair and tablet) Glare is always your enemy but if you pick a spot that has little bounce light behind you, it shouldn’t be to much of an issue. The subtle colors in nature always reminds me, there’s so much she can teach us…so much…Hope you enjoy!

oops I forgot to add a photo of my gear ...BAM!

These are so beautiful! They look realistic like photos as thumbnails but so textured and sketchy up close. and yes, by tablet do you mean an ipad or laptop? :)

Thanks for the kind words guys! I'm using a samsung series 7. You can run photoshop on it and as long as you don't have a ton of layers it will run smoothly.

Kick-ass, Erik! These have great light in them. Well done. Let's definitely get lunch soon. I miss our Disney days!

These paintings are very impressive, I really like the use of sunlight. No matter what we are working on, or where we are, the awesome power of nature is very easy to spot. I really like the rock formation. It is always a good idea to travel light as well.
